This beautiful home was the palace of the last Raja of Arakkal Abdul Rahiman Aliraja Thangal of the Arakkal dynasty. This was Kerala's only Muslim royal family that ruled over parts of the Kannur coastline and even the Laccadive islands! The lush greenery and cool breeze from the sea, combined with the environ of the stately palace, make the stay here a totally different experience. It is enviably calm and serene.

The architecture is authentically Kerala, constructed with laterite and palmwood. The green tiled roof, the magnificent fountain, the landscaped garden and the surrounding greenery with an array of diverse potted plants make it an ideally eco-friendly environ.
